Five years ago, we created marid.net with the aim to:

• Provide a focus and a communication platform for international research on sedimentary bedform dynamics
• To share information on tools and best practice that will aid the efficiency and consistency of research methods.
• To support early-career scientists in their research through travel grant opportunities, promotion of their work and networking opportunities

To celebrate the big birthday, the website was entirely updated.
