Thierry Garlan and the organising committee from the Université de Rennes, France, have announced that the next MARID will not take place in 2022 as initially planned, but in 2023. This is due to the report of many conferences to 2021 and 2022 after the cancellation of most conferences in 2020. It is also to allow researchers who were delayed due to facilities closure and care duties to carry on their work and present new exciting results at the 7^th International Conference on Marine and River Dune Dynamics in 2023.
